The Cleveland Browns agreed with those who say they were ridiculous for having four quarterbacks stage a competition for the starting position. They signed Tyler Huntley this week, and he’s expected to play in an exhibition game against Carolina on Friday night.

Veteran Joe Flacco still is expected to win the job, but rookie Shedeur Sanders will start against the Panthers. Fellow rookie Dillon Gabriel, from Oregon and OU, and Kenny Pickett both are experiencing hamstring issues and won’t play. Flacco is not expected to play, either.
