Cathedral City is closing lanes on both Ramon Road and Landau Boulevard as it works on infrastructure improvements this week.

One of the three lanes on each side of the road will be closed on Ramon Road, from Landau Boulevard to Whispering Palms Drive, starting at 9 a.m. on Thursday and Friday as the city works on a median renovation.

Only one southbound lane will be open on Landau Boulevard, from 30th Avenue to McCallum Way, on Thursday starting at 8:30 a.m. as the city works on landscape renovations.

The city advised drivers to plan for their commutes to take longer and to consider taking different paths to their destinations.
