Apple has presented Donald Trump with a glass and gold trophy as the tech company continues to try to accommodate the president’s demand for U.S.-made iPhones.

On August 6, Apple announced plans to move all of its iPhone and Apple Watch glass screen production to a Corning factory in Kentucky . Alongside that, it also shared plans to work with Samsung’s U.S.-based chip fabrication plant to make chips in a new way that hasn’t been seen before, according to Apple. The company’s press release outlines several other U.S.-centric plans as well.

Out of all of that, the cherry on top is that to celebrate this, Apple has given the president a gold trophy, which is just kind of hilarious. However, to me, the saddest part is that it probably worked. I bet Trump went home and was overjoyed to have
