Lieutenant Gov. Will Ainsworth announced on Thursday that Catherine Gayle Fuller will serve as his new chief of staff following the departure of Jess Skaggs, who will begin working for Senate President Pro-Tem Garlan Gudger (R-Cullman) later in August.

Joining Ainsworth’s office in 2023, Fuller has held the title of deputy chief of staff with duties that included overseeing policy initiatives and serving as his spokesperson.
