NEWTON, Kan. (KSNW) -- A man who was already on supervised release has pleaded guilty to child sex crimes.
Matthew Ratzlaff, 38, of Burrton, appeared in Harvey County District Court on Wednesday, where he pleaded guilty to kidnapping and two counts of aggravated indecent solicitation of a child. Ratzlaff's victim was under the age of 10 at the time of his crimes.
“This case is a painful reminder of the seriousness of crimes against children,” said Harvey County Attorney Heather L. Figger. “We are committed to holding offenders accountable and pursuing justice for the most vulnerable members of our community.”
