EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Plans are moving forward for new apartment complexes in Evansville.

Applications filed with the state show one would be built on North Burkhardt, in a section of undeveloped land south of Lynch.

The paperwork shows it’s called “Eastfield Reserve” and would have 240 apartments

Work is expected to be finished by late 2027.

EREP officials also say they are recommending READI grant funds for a housing project on the west side.

The Nest at Redbank would include 96 units of affordable housing.
