NORTHWEST ARKANSAS (KNWA/KFTA) — Keep an eye on the sky — the Goodyear Blimp has been seen flying over Northwest Arkansas this week as part of its 100th anniversary tour.

The blimp is making more than 100 stops across North America and Europe in 2025, with appearances at major sports events, festivals and select cities to mark a century since the first Goodyear Blimp, Pilgrim, launched in 1925, according to the company's website.

For more than a century, the airship has appeared at events such as the Olympics, the Super Bowl and other major gatherings. It was also used by the U.S. military during World War II.

Upcoming stops include the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, from Aug. 22–25.
