SPRINGFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - The charges against a man accused of kidnapping a woman and her children back in September of 2024 were dropped this week, happening the day before the trial was set to begin.

Western Mass News spoke with the defendant’s lawyer who tells us evidence proved the woman made false claims to police.
