ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. - Missouri State Sen. Brian Williams (D-14th District) has announced his campaign to run for St. Louis County Executive in the Democratic primary in August 2026 election.

Williams has represented the state's 14th Senatorial District since 2019. The district includes several municipalities in north- and mid-St. Louis County, including parts of University City, Ladue, Ferguson, Bridgeton and Hazelwood.

Sam Page is the incumbent St. Louis County Executive, also a Democrat. Last week, Page was indicted by a grand jury over allegations of using public funds on a flyer opposing a county ballot measure known as Proposition B.
