Kate Gosselin has made her way to TikTok .

The 50-year-old reality star, known for her TLC series "Jon & Kate Plus 8," appeared to post her first video to TikTok on July 13. The TikTok account has about 109,000 followers, as of Aug. 7, but remains unverified, which has confused some fans about its legitimacy.

Gosselin posted a video on July 28 to clarify that the account is real and she is awaiting verification from TikTok.

"There's going to be a lot of dogs on it and kids, but mostly dogs and me," Gosselin said in the video, which had more than 2.6 million views, as of Aug. 7. "I'm in my German Shepherd dog mom era. Is that how they say it? You know what I mean."
