CAPE GIRARDEAU COUNTY, Mo. (KFVS) - The public is invited to give input on the homestead property tax freeze passed by the state legislature.
According to the Cape Girardeau County Commission, the public hearing will be Thursday, August 14 at 9 a.m. in the third-floor commission chambers at 100 Court Street.
Written input from Cape Girardeau County residents will be accepted before the public hearing by email at commish@capecounty.us.
They say the written testimony must include the resident’s name and address.
