It's that time again — albeit slightly earlier this year.

Nominations officially open Friday, Aug. 8 for the Amarillo Globe-News 2025 Man and Woman of the Year, as well as the annual Headliners and Citizens on the Move awards, which are being presented by FirstBank Southwest.

Starting with the Man of the Year in the 1950s, the annual awards have recognized members of the community over the years to highlight their positive contributions and lasting impact in Amarillo with the Globe-News' highest honor.
