Once upon a time, Paul McCartney and Stevie Wonder hung out at Paul’s Scottish cottage in The Mull Of Kintyre for a weekend and wrote the song “Ebony & Ivory”. This is not actually a true story: McCartney wrote the song on his own at his Scottish farm for his album Tug of War. Rather, it's the plot of Jim Hosking’s Ebony & Ivory, a two-hander that imagines how exactly the creation of “Ebony & Ivory” would have gone if the two had spent a weekend together.
