DULUTH, Minn. (Northern News Now) - The final defendant in a massive drug trafficking scheme between Chicago and the Twin Ports has been found guilty.
After a three-day trial in federal court, a jury decided 32-year-old Carl Brown was guilty of conspiring to distribute fentanyl and meth.
He was one of eight originally indicted in connection with the crime.
In April, the following eight individuals were indicted on charges of conspiracy to distribute fentanyl and meth.
