LARGO, Fla. (WFLA) — A 6-year-old who was seriously injured in a hit-and-run in a Walmart parking lot was released from the hospital Wednesday.

According to Largo Police Chief Mike Loux, Aaliya became trapped underneath the vehicle as it continued to move for approximately 500 feet in an attempt to flee the parking lot.
