PITTSFORD, N.Y. — Ahead of Thursday's final camp practice for the Buffalo Bills at St. John Fisher, the top question coming into the day was whether we would see James Cook one last time in Pittsford or whether the running back would continue his hold-in for a fourth straight practice.
The latter held true with Cook missing practice once again. His contract status now looms over the team as they head back to Orchard Park. Cook is still going through walkthroughs with the team according to coach Sean McDermott, but what the Bills really want is to have their big play-hitter at running back back on the field.
For now, the "next man up" mentality is the mantra at the position.
