YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) -- A local parochial school has hung up a "help wanted" sign, looking to hire new teachers ahead of the school year's start.

Saint Joseph the Provider School on Youngstown's North Side is looking for potential hires who are just getting their start in their teaching career.

"We need a second-grade teacher, we need a seventh-grade teacher, hopefully someone with some language arts background," said Pat Lowry, the school's president. "We always can use coaches for the sports because our seventh and eighth grade students are involved in sports with the parochial league and things like that."

They are also open to speaking with retired teachers from other positions who still may want to be involved in education.
