GREENWOOD, Ind. — According to officials with the Greenwood Police Department, this case has shifted from a death investigation to a homicide investigation. An update from the department stated that this decision was made "as a result of the autopsy findings."

"To preserve the integrity of this investigation, we will not be releasing any details at this time," the update read. "Our investigators are working diligently and using every tool available to bring those responsible to justice."
