PICKAWAY COUNTY, OH — Two long-vacant buildings in Pickaway County have been targeted for removal as part of ongoing efforts to revitalize local properties through the Pickaway County Brownfield Grant and Demolition Grant programs.

The former New Holland Storefront , located at 33 E. Front Street in New Holland , recently completed its pre-demolition survey on November 27, 2024 . The structure was awarded $51,600 in grant funding, and demolition is expected to begin in the coming weeks.

Meanwhile, the former bait shop at 1030 S. Court Street in Circleville was successfully demolished in June . That project received $27,900 in demolition funding after also completing its pre-demolition survey in November 2024. Before-and-after photos of the site show the transformatio
