Austin Drummond was captured on Aug. 5 in connection to the quadruple homicide in Lake County.

The state is seeking the death penalty in the case.

Drummond is being held without bond with his next court hearing set for Aug. 14.

Lake County quadruple murder suspect Austin Drummond is being held without bond as the state seeks the death penalty.

Drummond, who appeared virtually in court dressed in a black and white striped jumpsuit, was arraigned in Lake County General Sessions Court before Judge Drew Cook on Aug. 7.

Cook entered a not guilty plea on behalf of Drummond before qualifying him as indigent and retaining Attorney Bryan Huffman to represent him in the case.
