A recent report found that newcomers to Huron-Perth’s towns and villages are facing housing barriers, including high costs compared to their income and long wait times for housing application approvals.

Mark Nonkes, manager of the Huron County Immigration Partnership, presented the findings to Perth County council on Thursday morning.
