Good news, Bat-fans. According to Deadline , Warner Bros. confirmed this morning that Matt Reeves 's The Batman Part II will begin filming this spring. New DCU head James Gunn previously stated that he loved the script earlier this summer, but very little known is actually known about the sequel's plot so far. Hopefully, Colin Farrell's Oz Cobb still waddles out on screen to face Battinson.
The Batman Part II is due out in theaters on October 1, 2027, with Robert Pattinson set to return as Bruce Wayne. The film was originally supposed to release this October, but delays pushed production back two (!) years. The shift will likely affect any plans for The Penguin season 2 as well, especially since the two foes will not meet until 2027 now.
