TWIN FALLS — The County Sheriff’s Office is conducting a homicide investigation after the discovery of the body of a woman south of town Wednesday morning.

The identification of the woman is pending, Twin Falls County Sheriff's Office spokesperson Lori Stewart said in an email Thursday afternoon.

The sheriff's office believes the homicide is an isolated incident, Stewart said, and there is no perceived threat to the public.
