A new report shows the Paradise Valley Police Department logged 14% fewer residential burglaries in 2024.
PVPD has released its 2024 annual report and presented the findings to the public during a recent Coffee with a Cop event.
“I’m incredibly proud of the dedicated men and women of the Paradise Valley Police Department. Their commitment to excellence is reflected in this annual report,” PVPD Chief Freeman Carney stated in an email. “We’re fortunate to work with a supportive town council, an engaged town manager and a supportive community that believes in partnership.”
The 14% drop in residential burglaries was compared to the two-year average with 25 in 2024 and an average of 20 over the 2022-2023 period.
