Juvenile hospitalized after shots fired near Sago Drive, Bay City Police Department says

BAY CITY, Texas (KTRK) -- A young victim is in the hospital after reportedly being shot in Bay City on Wednesday.

The Bay City Police Department said it responded to shots fired at about 4 p.m. in the 2100 block of Sago Drive.

Officers said a juvenile had suffered a gunshot wound and was taken to the hospital in a personal vehicle. The police department said the victim is expected to be OK.

Bay City PD said it's following up on any leads after detectives went through multiple scenes.
