New questions have emerged about the future of Weiss Hospital in Chicago's Uptown neighborhood, with the facility's Medicare funding expected to be withdrawn on Friday.

The day prior, hospital visitors were greeted by a locked front door and a sign directing them to the professional building a block away.

Maria Burke, who receives care at the hospital, said when it comes to what's happening with the hospital, even her doctor doesn't have answers.
