FORT WORTH, Texas — American Airlines will offer new and direct routes to two popular European destinations, the company said in a press release.
Starting next summer, American Airlines will directly connect Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport to Athens and Zurich, the airline said. The new routes will make American the only airline with direct flights from DFW to Zurich and Athens, the release states.
With the two new routes, American will now provide nonstop service to 11 European cities, the release states.
Plus, American Airlines will expand service to Buenos Aires, as the region prepares to welcome international soccer fans for the 2026 FIFA World Cup .
