If you’re the starting left tackle for an NFL team that the Philadelphia Eagles are scheduled to play during the 2025 NFL season … watch out, you just might be cursed.

Los Angeles Chargers two-time Pro Bowler Rashawn Slater suffered a ruptured patellar tendon on Thursday that will land him on the season-ending injured reserve list, according to an official team announcement. Terrible news.

The Eagles are set to play the Bolts at SoFi Stadium on Monday Night Football in Week 14 (December 8). Justin Herbert will be playing behind an offensive line that’s obviously much worse off with Slater not able to suit up.

Two other opponents dealing with significant left tackle injuries are the Dallas Cowboys and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
