The City of Richmond has launched a new angled parking pilot project in Steveston.

Seventeen angled parking stalls have been added on the south side of Chatham Street, between Fourth and Sixth avenues.

This change has increased the number of parking spots in the area from 32 to 49.

The angled parking pilot is part of a long-term Steveston Streetscape Vision , which explores solutions for more parking in the area.

City's transportation department will monitor how well the angled parking performs, including safety, traffic flow and ease of use.

Community members are encouraged to provide feedback on the pilot project through a short survey on LetsTalkRichmond.ca , by phone at 604-276-4271 or email at [email protected]

Deadline for feedback is Sunday, Oct. 19.
