ELMIRA, N.Y. (WETM) - Mostly sunny, but continued hazy for the last few days of the week. There is the off-chance that we could have some rumbles of thunder, but if it happens at all, we will see those storms off to our east. That center of the persistent high pressure moves off to the east as well, and that will usher in more heat and humidity.

Sunshine will be the name of the game for at least the next few days. So if you are heading to Watkins Glen you are in luck. Nothing but dry conditions for all of your camping, enjoying and racing needs. And the milky sky courtesy of the ongoing wildfires will thin out at least a little.

We stay very dry for the next seven days. The next chance of rain comes to the Twin Tiers in a week.
