STILLWATER — Gabe Panikowski is prepared to make important kicks for Oklahoma State.
The senior placekicker isn't afraid of the pressure of an enemy stadium cheering against him. He'll be locked and focused on his job.
"I have to stay calm," Panikowski said. "Very calm and collective in my thoughts. I don't necessarily think of anything when I go and kick. I just let my body take over because I've been doing it for so long."
It's the mindset the Cowboys fans probably want to hear in a player expected to be the program's next kicker. Among all the newcomers, Panikowski is probably the transfer least talked about but most important.
