Two Pennsylvania state troopers were shot and wounded Thursday, Aug. 7, while on duty, police said.
The shooting happened around 11:15 a.m. after Trooper Joseph Perechinsky and Trooper William Jenkins responded to a call near State Route 171 in Thompson Township, Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania State Police said in a press release.
