It's like the Okanagan's legendary lake monster knew it was his/her time to shine.
Thursday, Aug. 7, is National Sea Serpent Day (as mentioned in the above second photo, courtesy of the Museum and Archives of Vernon). Now, while we couldn't find an actual photo of the Okanagan's very own legend, Ogopogo, we did find a photo of Ogie's long suspected home. That being Squally Point near Peachland.
