OMAHA, Neb. —

An Omaha teenager can call herself a USA Track and Field All-American.

She ranks seventh in her age group after competing in the Junior Olympics.

But her victories come after a personal challenge left her unsure if she'd be able to compete.

This training is part of what led the 14-year-old to become an All-American for USA Track and Field.

She competed at this year's Junior Olympics in Savannah, Georgia — and despite her upward momentum hitting a wall this past spring — she finished as number one in her age group for Nebraska and ranked seventh in the country for the 100-meter dash.
