GREENBRIER, Ark. - Arkansas is now home to the United States' top disc golf course. Persimmon Ridge Resort, which is tucked away in the mountainside of Greenbrier, was voted the number one fan favorite disc golf course in the country.

The 90-acre course was built from scratch by owners Steve and Kim Jones to feature three different level courses, golf cart rentals, a pro shop, and an Airbnb cottage.

The couple originally bought this property for their retirement, but after years of owning businesses, it turned into a new business venture and they turned it into a wedding venue.

"I had to sneak her out here and then she crossed that hill and she said 'Alright, we can go the next step,'" Steve Jones said.
