ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. —

An investigation is underway after a person was hit by a vehicle in northeast Albuquerque.

Police responded to the crash in the area of Lomas and Louisiana Boulevards NE. The pedestrian was hospitalized and is listed in critical condition.

The Albuquerque Police Department Fatal Crash Unit is investigating. The public is being asked to avoid the area as police investigate.
