WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - According to Wichita State University, nearly 600,000 Kansans lack regular access to dental care. On Thursday, they moved a step closer to increasing care accessibility through a dental school in partnership with Fort Hays State University.
"If you want to keep the Kansas kids and the Kansas dentists in Kansas, you better open up a dental school here," said Wichita Family Dental's Andreas Schmalz.
