NEW MILFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Winnebago County Deputies arrested Dealon Williams, 46, for allegedly attacking two seniors, causing one to be hospitalized, while invading their home.

On August 6, around 10 a.m., officers were called to the 6700 block of 11th Avenue for reports of a medical emergency. Both victims were being treated by firefighters when deputies arrived at the apartment.

The female victim was taken to UW-Health for treatment.

The victim told authorities that Williams entered his apartment through a screen door while the interior door was left open.

He proceeded to punch both of the seniors multiple times and attempted to hit them with a chair, according to court records.

The suspect told officers he went to the victims' residence and "snapped out."
