MINNEAPOLIS, Minnesota — At North Star Deli in south Minneapolis, Chef Pedro Wolcott points out the Minnesota North Stars hat sitting on top of the fridge.
"It's the first thing I have for the North Stars. It's like 37 years old. $2," said Wolcott, laughing.
Wolcott wasn't even living in Minnesota back then, but he became a fan of the professional hockey team as a kid.
"I'm from Panama, and then we migrated to New Orleans. I'm a military kid. My dad was in the Navy. So we went between New Orleans and Panama," Wolcott said. "Back in like the '90s, I was with the Army kids rollerblade skating and playing hockey... I just learned about the Mighty Ducks.
