HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) -- The Evansville Thunderbolts are bringing back a key piece of their championship team, re-signing Scott Kirton.
Kirton is the franchise's all-time leader in goals, points, power play goals and game winning goals, while also coming in second all-time in regular season games played, assists and short-handed goals.
This past season he reported 14 goals and 40 points, including the goal and four points in the Evansville run for the Presidents Cup. Kirton will head into his fifth season with the Thunderbolts when they raise the President Cup on October 25th against the Quad City Storm.
