ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Ever Ready Grinding & Pin MFG, LLC, in Rockford, is hoping to build on a legacy that began back in 1981.

Al Abdulla is president and director of operations. He said he helped take over the company a year and a half ago.

“I think we have the best… one of the sincerest guys… men and women here… that give it all and that take pride in what they do,” he said.

The company manufactures pins and punches. They also service the fastener industry.

Abdulla said, “Ever Ready, it’s in the name. We’re built for speed.”

He said there’s a healthy mix of new and old machinery, which allows the team of more than 70 people to be flexible and efficient.

“We have a variety of these machines, so if there’s more than one part, all the machines can be utilized all at once,” he said.
