GARDEN CITY, Utah (ABC4) — Tens of thousands of people are expected to descend on Rich County to celebrate the annual Bear Lake Raspberry Days event.
What started as just a small parade with a few people back in 1985 has grown into an event where 50,000 people are expected to attend three days' worth of events. Pat Argyle, a member of the Garden City Town Council, says putting on Raspberry Days is no small feat.
"To give you some perspective, the entire population of Rich County is under 3,000 people," Argyle says. "But more than 50,000 people are expected to come up and spend the weekend out here."
