Houston Texans star safety Jimmie Ward was arrested on Thursday, public records show.

Back on June 12, police in Montgomery County, Texas, arrested Jimmie Ward on a family violence charge . The alleged victim claimed that Ward threatened, strangled and assaulted her.

On Thursday evening, several reporters on X/Twitter found a public record stating that Ward was also arrested earlier today in Magnolia, Texas. According to the report, Ward was arrested just after 5:00 p.m. local time.

As of 9:45 p.m. EST, there has been no comment from Jimmie Ward, his camp nor the Houston Texans organization.
