After 30 years, Alicia Silverstone wants to give Cher Horowitz the proper comeback treatment.

Following the news that a series adaptation of her breakout 1995 teen movie Clueless is in development at Peacock , the Golden Globe nominee recently shared her excitement about the update, although she couldn’t reveal anything.

“I’m really excited about it,” she said on Today . “I think we’re going to try really hard. The goal is to make it honor what everyone loves about Clueless and Cher.”

Silverstone continued, “So we want to honor that, but also bring something fresh and new to it. I’m confident that we’ll be able to do that, but we’re in baby stages right now.”
