An online influenced by the name of Peter Nguyen has posted a video of his interaction with an American Airlines Flight Attendant (FA) that found him attempting to smoke in the lavatory of an aircfraft that was in flight. He recorded the FA chastising him and she appears to reach for the camera, which he immediately reacts to by claiming assault.

Nguyen committed a federal offense and put the aircraft at risk of diversion or worse with his action, but responded in an extreme manner to the FA. It is not visible if any physical contact occurred in the video.
