KNOXVILLE, Tenn — Since 2019, Sherene Jacobs has been brewing up happiness at Perk City Knoxville .

"I love it, I've made nothing but a bunch of good friends here," Jacobs said.

Jacobs is the owner of the coffee shop, a place she created for people to gather and a fun way to earn some cash. Right now, she said she's worried about the future of her shop as coffee prices continue to climb because of a drought in Brazil.
