BEAUMONT, Texas — Southeast Texas cancer patients will soon have access to cutting-edge care closer to home thanks to a new $40 million cancer center under construction at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas in Beaumont.
The 40,000-square-foot facility will offer treatments that previously required patients to travel to Houston, including chemotherapy, infusion, hematology, and radiation oncology.
"Welcome to the new construction site of the Baptist Hospital, Southeast Texas Cancer Network," said Gay-Lynne Jones, Director of the Cancer Network. "We're going to have lots of new and exciting things that we're going to be able to do in this building as well as provide great access to care for people within our community."
