BALTIMORE -- Colts rookie defensive lineman JT Tuimoloau was in good spirits in the moments following his first preseason game, despite the knee injury that ended it for him.
"I feel good," Tuimoloau said. "I'm a little banged up but I'm just playing it safe and getting my body ready for the next game."
The second-round defensive end out of Ohio State played as much as anyone on the two-deep to begin the preseason opener and flashed on a number of pass rushing reps. He finished with a sack, two quarterback hits, two tackles-for-loss, a forced fumble and a pass deflection.
But he exited with a knee injury and was soon ruled out for the game. It was into the fourth quarter by that point, and the Colts were almost exclusively playing third-stringers and players trying to earn their spot
