Four pharmacies across Czechia will begin offering weekend flu shots this autumn, provided by a doctor, in a trial aiming to make vaccinations more accessible.

Starting in October 2025, for the first time, Czechs will be able to get vaccinated against the flu at selected pharmacies on weekends. The Czech health ministry is launching the pilot project to explore whether this model could work nationwide. The goal is to expand access to preventive care, especially for working people who struggle to see a doctor during regular hours.
