Hip-hop and R&B singer Chris Brown kicked off his two-night stay in Detroit Thursday in tremendous fashion during night one of the “Breezy Bowl XX” tour at Ford Field. While controversy follows him off stage, Brown proved he remains a force once he steps in front of a crowd.

Brown’s lengthy list of hit songs made sure fans were engaged with the music all night, but what truly stood out was the spectacle of it all. A massive stage stretched deep into the audience, while giant LED screens set the background for each song.
